Established in 1952 with one printing press in the
heart of Brighton, G.Beard & Son Ltd expanded
into book printing and moved to new premises in
York Villas in Brighton in 1970. In 1996 Beard
Digital was formed and installed their first
digital press in partnership with IBM, a Xeikon
32DP - one of the most advanced reel fed digital
printing presses of its time.
Beard Digital have continued to provide high quality digital printing and in 2005 updated their digital colour system to include the latest Nexpress 2100 Plus, a full colour digital colour printing system - complete with matt spot or full coverage gloss coating from its unique fifth colour unit.
